During this online two-hour training, we will explore the common medications in pediatric psychiatric care. We will discuss the different medication classes (SSRIs/SNRIs; ADHD treatments; aggressive and defiant behaviors), as well as the side effects (both the good, bad and ugly). Finally, we will discuss ways to access care, and what we can do to manage and monitor medication over time. Training will be targeted for school nurses, counselors, social workers, school psychologists, and clinicians.
